I have an old file Stargate Atlantis labeled S01E01E02.mkv HT doesn't find it, so just shows E01 then E03, E04 etc I could split the file easily enough but then there is the subtitle track and that wold be a nightmare. I tried Stargate Atlantis S01E01 E02 (1)(2).mkv but no change. The other approach would be to make a dummy file and call it Stargate Atlantis labeled S01E02.mkv That at least would bring up the ep synopsis and actor list and backdrop etc
I came up with a solution that works for me but its not really addressing the problem in absolute terms! I named the combined episode of 1 and 2 thus Stargate.Atlantis.S01E01 E02 (1)(2) .mp4 I then created a dummy file using notepad and called it Stargate.Atlantis.S01E02.mkv ( 0 bytes in length as its really a notepad file) This resulted in HT inserting Ep1, Ep2, Ep3 etc with the correct synopsis shown. On the same page it shows Ep1 with a (1) and (2) shown that for me indicate ep 1 and ep2 as one file. If you attempt to play the HT entry marked Ep2 you get a Can't play message. This was the only way I could get entries for the episodes with the correct synopsis.
Say Netmask, I noticed in that image you have your episodes in a nice vertical list... how/where did you do that. I just have an awkward horizontal row of episode numbers to navigate. TIA ~ Ken Check That. I see now... that's from the browser app. I'd sure like to see that option on the television.
Not possible in HT but you can always play from the PC web editor view, just click on the start arrow at the left of each ep.
