Hi - I am highly interested in buying a eversolo - want to use it as a preamp.

What about the outputs? - can I select different output levels at the same time? (rca/xlr)

    1. rca: need to be fixed - this go to the headphone amp
    2. xlr: not fixed - goes directly to the amp

... is it right that the rca/xlr-output deliver the same signal?

    ... thanks for help!

Yes, you cannot set different volumes on RCA & XLR, as the two outputs use the same amplifier circuits

I will add that if you have an external DAC or don't mind buying one (eg Eversolo DAC-Z8), you can set a separate XLR (4 Vrms) pathway for each amp.
    For example:

    1. A6 (0 dB) > USB > Z8 > XLR > stereo amp (volume attenuated by the Z8).
    2. A6 (0 dB) > XLR > HP amp (volume attenuated by the HP amp).
