Not sure how I did it but on the iOS home page of my DMP-A6 app it shows a panel in gray with a "+". It's below the six other panels those being "Source", "Music", "Files", "Streaming", "Cast" and "Settings". It just popped up a few days ago. When selected it says "Edit" and lists all the above panel choices (with check marks) and a number of other choices. I tried to delete this panel but I've had no luck. Is there a way to edit the home page to delete the gray panel? It bothers me in an OCD type of way. Thanks in advance for any help with this real world problem.
That is the widgets panel. It came along a few firmware’s back. I have no idea why it just appeared. Go to settings and turn off widgets. I think it is under display and it will go away.
Odd. Do a “reboot” but unplugging the device. Wait a few minutes replug it and turn it on. If this does not work, you may have to do a factory reset which is a pain. But maybe it will just go away on its own as mysteriously as it showed up. You can also try turning on the widgets again, adding a widget. Let is stay there for a while. Then remove it. And then shut down the panel in settings. I know this sounds like magic but I have been around electronics a long time and sometimes they can act like a living organism.
