Qobuz Connect & Replay gain

When I use the integrated Qobuz app on my Eversolo DM-A8 I get replay gain applied when it’s turned on, however when using Qobuz Connect (beta) it doesn’t seem to pass replay gain to the Eversolo at all is this expected?

Do you happen to notice that "beta" thing...?
Maybe it's not yet implemented, uh?

Hence my question, is it a bug or feature just missing. Their own app doesn’t apply replay gain at all anyway so I wonder if it’s a missing feature of their own streams? A deal breaker for me using this method as I hate having to constantly reach to the volume between albums.

You still seem to not understand: it is a BETA version.
Beta software is in-development, aka: not-yet-complete.
So if a feature is advertised, but is not working/misbehaving, you generally have the right to (and somehow should) ask/report about it.
If a feature is expected by you (replay gain being applied like the Qobuz app does...), but is not there (like Qobuz-connect-BETA does not offer - maybe yet), then any question is out of place.

    Hope it is clear, now.

Long story short: replay gain is expected to not work, at the moment.

Hey @Nutul, why the hostile response. Lay of @CrystalGipsy, they’re just asking a simple question.

Your manner of response puts me off buying an Eversolo product if this is how their customers decide to treat others. Not good.

Thanks but I just ignore responses like the one above. To be honest it’s about what I expect on this forum reading how some users treat others.
    Lack of tolerance and manners.

Sorry guys, but I just get irritated at people asking for features in a clearly beta (aka: testing) environment.
Now, if you want to make it a personal attack, you are clearly wrong; but I have the feeling that some of the forum members here are not perfectly aware of what they talk about.
It is perfectly normal to ask a question like: "How comes the replay gain is not supported?" talking about the internal Eversolo music player app.
It is not, OTOH, asking for it (or even suggesting it is a bug) in a beta software testing project such as the Qobuz-connect app is... (p.s. a bug in a beta software... what a surprise, uh?)

You do not feel legitimate to make requests in a beta project you are part of as a tester: a beta project follows the directions of its developers/engineers until it starts to become stable, then all the wave of feature requests / improvements / innovations / etc. etc. may - MAY - be considered as a further evolution of it.

It is as simple as that. A question like "is is to be expected or is it a bug" is completely out of place. IN A BETA TESTING ENVIRONMENT. Yes, I am shouting, as you still happen to not understand it.
It is not an already developed app that needs debugging - it is a yet-to-be-born app, and you are here to just test what it has to offer at the moment; not to discuss why something is not there yet.

@Nutul I refer you to the OP

There is clearly no asking for this feature. The integrated Qobuz app has replay gain and works.

It was being asked if the lacking of replay gain with Qobuz Connect was because of a bug or expected behaviour. Confirmed by their reply

    my parting words here are

STOP SHOUTING AT PEOPLE IN FORUMS AS WE CANNOT HEAR YOU. YOU MAY ALSO WANT TO THINK ABOUT TAKING A BREAK FROM FORUMS IF YOU GET SO UPSET OVER A SIMPLE POST AND STOP BEING AN ASS.

Keep calm! It`s nothing that makes the world go round. It`s just a forum for music and technic nerds an we are all this nerds.
    Peace, love and harmony!!! :D

@Nutul is known by me in this forum as a tech guy with great know how in many things and always helpful not only for my questions.

Most of the time his posts are usefull - not only for me.

    By the way...

How can I get this Quobuz Connect Beta?

    Please tell me...

And sorry for my english. As a German I write it down just without a translater. It`s my private challenge to restore and set up my school english I learned for about more than 50 years ago. So be patient with me. :)

Yes, everything is clear, except that the integrated Qobuz app has nothing to do with the Qobuz-connect daemon.
Come on everybody, let's start making feature-request threads for the connect (beta...) feature, so we stress the devs, uh?
I really cannot understand why people do not understand, but just want it all now...
Anyway, as it is, case closed.
