Proposed: A better way of handling bonus material ("extras") that go along with a movie or TV show

I like to have bonus material from many movies, and even some TV shows, in my collection of videos on my video file server. If my Zidoo (a Z10 Pro in my case) sees that material, however, it generally does an awful job via TMDB/TVDB/TVMaze doing metadata matching (even if you use a more helpful file naming convention than I have used in the example below).

I really don't want the Zidoo to even try matching, however, because even when successful the resulting poster wall item rarely ends up associated with the video it's a bonus for in any useful way.

What I do now is this: Every movie and TV show I have has its own folder, even if there's nothing but a single MKV file inside that folder. I have nothing at the top level of my video share other than folders (a useful habit, although I don't know how common it is for other people to organize their files this way).

Any bonus material goes into a folder named _Extras_, like this:

I've told my Zidoo to ignore anything inside the folder _Extras_, so at least there's now no bad TMDB/TVDB/TVMaze matching attempts going on anymore.

However, it would be great if the Zidoo provided quick access to bonus material right from within the display screen for a particular movie. I've implemented that feature in my own personal video server app, but it would be great if the Zidoo would do something similar itself.

For TV shows there can be bonus material that applies to the whole show, and bonus material for just a particular season. I handle that this way:

...with _Extra_ folders at both levels. The bonus material view for a particular season combines material from both folders.

I'd love it if the Zidoo could perform a similar service for bonus material, perhaps using a similar convention as I'm using: looking for a specially-named folder in the same folder where a particular Poster-wall-matched video is located. (Obviously the Download feature seen above wouldn't apply.)

If anyone would like to see a live demo (limited for copyright reasons, and because I don't want strangers starting up movies on my Zidoo) of my personal video library application, it can be found at https://shetline.org. You can use the credentials demo / checkThis%0UT (that's a zero, not an oh, in the password).

For real-life personal use this web application provides me adaptive video streaming at 480p-1080p, as network conditions allow, and remote download of full MKV files. As a demo user you're stuck with clips no longer than 3 minutes at crappy non-adaptive 320p resolution, and no downloading, of course.
