Posterwall (HT4.0)

My UHD3000'a Posterwall for a movie has stopped populating with info the screen one arrives at when one clicks on a castmember or director. (I mainly miss this for seeing their other films I have.)

 

I take it you haven't noticed the threads discussing the fix for the broken TMDB access??

What do I do when Posterwall seems not to be seeing half the episodes of a TV series? It matched the first 5 episodes of the series which is on TVDB, but I have no idea what happened to episodes 6-10 since they aren't in Unmatched (but are visible in the File Manager on both my UHD3000 and my Windows 11 pc.

 

I only use TMDB for both movies and tv shows. Basically no problems on my UHD3000. TVDB have had more than a few problems of their own. Plus I use simple naming ie handmaids tale S01E03.mkv

 

Thanks for your reply, Netmask, but I have no idea how to apply it. The missing 5 episodes aren't in Unmatched, so I don't know how to try to match them via any database. As for the 5 episodes that aren't missing (which incidentally have identical naming) I have no idea what database they were matched using since it happened automatically. Anyone with a suggestion on what to do with my 5 episodes missing from Posterwall?

 

Temporarily remove the missing titles onto a drive not shared with Zidoo. Then go into preferences and change the tv setting to use TMDB. Then reload those files back. Hopefully HT will find and match them.

 

BTW Which version of Windows 11 do you have?
Also have you updated HT to version 4.3.52 ?

 

I essentially did what you suggested and it worked, thank you very much Netmask!

Before moving the files to a non-scanned folder, I decided to add 5 tiny video files named like
Title S01E06.mp4

(I did this because I seem to recall some issue if matched files without alternate files got deleted, and I wanted to avoid that if somehow they had invisibly matched somewhere.)

And suddenly all ten files appeared in Posterwall. A couple auto-matched. The rest appeared in Unmatched. Turns out that TMDB was missing the missing episodes. I matched them using TMDB adding each episode number. Then deleted the 5 fake tiny files. Success!

Thanks for asking; I've been on 4.3.52 for five days. Windows 11 Pro 24H2.
