For a next firmware iteration would it be possible to make sceen brightness and knob brightness dependent on time of day (day/evening/night) ? In the absence of a light sensor, a broad overall setting would be practical. With my A8 sitting close to the TV, my wife has repeatedly requested me to turn down the screen brightness a notch ;-)
Another one to improve ;-) ... I suggest the following changes in the Eversolo App Section: Streaming / {any provider} / Favourites: Change "Remove collection succeeded" into "Remove from favourites" Section: Streaming / {any provider} / General: Change "Collect" into "Add to favourites" I know that Tidal uses the naming "Add to my collection" but this is generally speaking clearer if you want to standardize the naming over multiple streaming providers.
Hi @Eki Shaw Would it be difficult (or even possible) to add DLNA/UPNP server functionality inside the Eversolo platform? I am asking because in my household there is currently a Naim Uniti Core that is fulfilling that duty, serving up my entire 3tb musical collection (of which 60% not available anymore on any of the streaming services) to all members of my household. I would however like to consolidate that into one single device. The Shanling SM1.3 for which I am currently writing a comparative review actually has that functionality, which triggered my question to you. Cheers Willem
It’s very simple for me. Would you mind sending me a private message with your region and city? Perhaps I can recommend a local dealer for you to contact for an audition. Cheers, E
Hi Eki, A year into my use of Eversolo products (A6 -> A8 -> T8) I still have a strong wish for DLNA/UPNP Server capabilities built into the Eversolo OS, especially now that the T8 offers 2x 8Tb storage capacity ... As said earlier my kids want to use my music library, and buying a NAS only for this purpose seems silly if I already have all that storage potential inside the T8 only for local use. And since Shanling was able to include this in their OS where it functions seamlessly, I was hoping to bring this back on your radar
Install BubbleUPnP point it to Eversolo storage and you will have a UPnP server running on the device.
Not sure which version of BubbleUPNP would allow me to do this. Most versions that I tried so far stumble over trying to access the internal storage, let alone setup a server to share my music across my internal network. On top of that, BubbleUPNP forces me to buy a license (which is not an issue) via Amazon Appsotre (which has been discontinued) ... So it's not as easy as it seems ... And Roon is way too expensive for this use case only ... In addition to that some UPNP servers that do work require Google Play services so that route is also barred unfortunately
