Limit to how many movies and shows you can add ? Poster wall crashes and freezing

Hello I'm having issues with poster wall crashing and freezing with no help from zidoo on this issue. Hopefully get some help from all of you guys. First this is my set up I have zidoo uhd3000 version 6.4.68. HT 5.0 v4.3.05 I have 2 internal 16tb drives. Then using 1 out of 2 rear usb ports with 5 bay external hard drive cage as of now I had 2 16tb drives in the external cage. Totaling in 4 16tb drives totaling around 2400 movies and 700 shows. Rough estimate. since this last update worked fine. I recently added a 5th 16tb drive that would had brought the total of movies close to 3k movies. And after the scanning new 5th drive of all my movies and show files. the poster wall will not update at all keeps freezing and then it crashes taking me back to the media screen. Click the post wall icon from the main menu screen. looks like it's trying to update then crashes over and over again. If I remove 1 drive any out of the 5 drives then it works fine any combination. So there is no issues with the new 5th drive added. When I asked zidoo customer service rep. They told me there is no limit to how many movies or shows I add. I remember when I added my 4th drive I had same issue but that was before the last update. I contacted zidoo they told me I needed to update to the current version 6.4.68 rescanned all the drive then it worked fine. Same issue with adding another drive however no more new updates as of now. I'm not sure because now zidoo is ignoring all my emails so i have no idea. Last they asked me what version of HT am I running and I responded then nothing heard back. 4 days now... so I guess my question is there any way to get this work. I want to add as many drives as I can. I have so many issues with this poster wall no mater what always been very slow. Not sure if mine is defective or is this all zidoo uhd3000. Also if I go to main menu media center file manager. It shows all 5 drives with no issues I can browse through the the drive play anything with no lag or issues at all. Only issues is the poster wall. My goal is to fill this hard drive cage up and add another 2 drives then take advantage of the second usb port and add another 5bay hard drive cage and fill that up. more the better. Being that all the media is external now. Not sure why having all these issues. I've seen people on here running Nas with over 7k movies some guy had. So not sure were the issue is. I'm not sure if this is do to lack of ram or the cpu that's inside this unit. Even if I was to upgrade to the uhd8000 how do I know I still won't have same issues. Or is there another media host for all my movies and shows on the front end like plex or jellyfin but still use zidoo player on the backend. This is extremely disappointing for me for all the money and time I put in to setting these drives up just to make this work. So please any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if i missed this on any other threads on here with same issues. Tried looking could not find anything like my issue. Hope you guys can help me fix this issue. Thanks

 

Update.. zidoo customer service finally got back to me after a week of no response. Gave me poster wall update v4.3.22 that update crashed my zidoo. Now poster wall does not work at all. I keep messaging them and they don't respond. I'm beyond pissed off. Now I'm gonna most likely have to wipe it out and start over.

 

Why don't you simply uninstall the update in the settings? Don't get me wrong, I understand why you're pissed off.

 

Tried everything nothing works. I did factory reset. Everything seems to work fine at first Until I try to scan my show folders. Now it crashes every time I run a scan. Can't even finish one scan. I'm so angry I can't even see straight. I don't know what to do. It's obvious bug in there os. I'm lost on what to do.. there customer service sucks. Or at least the guy that was trying to help me all he has done is made my zidoo pretty much none usable. If I buy new one and upgrade to uhd8000. How do I know I won't have same issues. Really frustrated. I can't get it to do it's basic function scan my internal drives and watch movies. Every scan It will go about half way, Then I get black screen then takes me back to main poster wall. Under sources it acts as if it never scanned the file at all. I tried to update and rescan the file also on other drives and it crashes over and over black screen of death on fresh new install.

 

Update. I wiped everything out and did factory reset. Everything was working fine until once again I made it to my 5th drive. When I was about half way through scraping my shows I noticed every show I added it slowly started to get slower and slower to the point of complete failure. So there is a limit on these devices. More I add the more it started to crash and take me back to home screen. More it scanned the more it kept crashing. So where ever it's storing the Metadata is what's causing my zidoo to crash. As soon as disconnect one of my drives bring the total to 4 hard drives it works fine. Soon as I connect the 5th drive poster wall freezes and crashes over and over. So I guess my question is now. Is there a way to store all Metadata on one of my drives vs the zidoo. I don't think 4gb of ram is enough for that many files. If anyone know how to fix this problem please let me know.
