I have an A6 for a year, using it with Qobuz. I used it from day one with an external DAC (Topping DX9). Later I also replaced its PS by an LPS. I don't like it's sound! No matter what I did, the YouTube and the CDP (DENON DVD-3930) connected by optical, sounds better, on the same title/track. I'd found out, that many do not compare their streamer sound with an other digital source. My rest of the system is: Pre-90 by Topping, pre Amp., a ROTEL RB-1582Mk-II power and a pair of Klipsch Forte II + a 12" Klipsch Sub.
You may prefer the lossy feed from You Tube, the A6 is audibly transparent. Changing the power supply won’t make the slightest difference. Keith
Eversolo is used as a transport so if something is happening, it is later in the chain. I too am surprised he blames the Eversolo. Remove it from the chain and input directly to the Topping DX9 and see is the “sound” changes! Reduce the number of variables in play. @Nutul - Thoughts?
I've already said that. He's just using the A6 as a plain transport and he doesn't like its "sound"... He's got no clue about how things work in a digital audio chain.
In your configuration you using your A6 it has no sound. You use it only as file transporter. There is nothig that "sounds." And your replacement of the PS was absolut nonsense. Only thing that changed with that was the amount of your money. It got less.
