My music files are tagged into a very limited number (less than a dozen) of genres. When first scanned into my library both my DMP A10 and the Eversolo only showed that limited set of genres when I browsed the library by genre. I discovered today that my library lists 233 genres. Nearly all of these genres have no files when you select them. I believe this change of behaviour in the library may have been introduced by the latest firmware update as that is the only change since the behaviour described previously. Many of the ‘new’ genres which have suddenly appeared are random/arbitrary rubbish which I doubt anyone would ever use! How do I restrict the library to only showing me genres which actually have files, rather than all the other garbage which has suddenly appeared?
Hi there, would you mind taking a video of the issue and send to me via google drive or other online drive? We will analyze the issue for you, thanks
I found this to be a hassle too. In the end I turned off Wi-fi (which obviously won't suit everyone but fine for local files). This prevented the addition of this nonsense during playback. I first noticed the issue when playing form a strictly tagged playlist of one genre. This happened despite choosing local priority (scanning option)
