Good morning, hope you are all well I am new to the Zidoo Community I currently have the Z9X Model. I'm going to start ripping my blu ray/4k/dvds on to a hard drive, but I do not know how to create a folder for each movie so that the zidoo can create the posters, movie info & be able to read/play the movie file. Can any of you please advise me how to create a folder & the movie name Patiently awaiting your response Fernando
If it was me, I'd create a folder called "Movies" on the Hard Disc. Inside the Movies folder I'd create a BluRay folder, a 4K folder and a DVD folder. Then I'd rip each movie into it's own folder (named for the movie title) into BluRay, 4K or DVD, depending what the source is. Then when scraping with the Zidoo it's up to you whether you just have one "Source" - ie the Movies folder, or three separate ones. Personally, I'd go for three separate Sources - BluRay, 4K and DVD then they can be separated by category in HT's widgets.
Maybe I explained it incorrectly. The movie itself after ripped and stored in the external hard drive don't have to create the folder in some sort of way for the zidoo to reead it create the poster & info? Lets for example Den of Thieves.something. I remember back in the day you had to create the movie folder & the ripped movied in some type of format in order for the player to place the poster/thumbnail & movie info
