What am i missing? All of a sudden I cannot get rid of the Volume screen in cast mode or on the unit display. This causes the inability to access any menu items at all. Screen.jpg Seems like this problem manifested itself after the latest firmware update. Curiously enough, the Volume graphic will disappear if I disconnect my Rj45 ethernet connection. The moment I plug the network cable back in it reappears. Note that the ethernet cable does not have to be connected on the other end for this to occur. Also, if I try to turn the volume up or down it does not respond and stays static at 8.

When using a USB DAC, you should use ‘Volume passthrough mode’. Also check if you have ‘Volume limit’ set.

You should probably output at 15 (full volume) and use volume passthrough.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try it. Funny thing. This happens even with no USB dac connected. Everything is fine until I plug my network cable in.

Then it seems, eventually, something in your LAN is trying (and succeeding) to set the volume ot your device... UpNP / LMS / Roon?
