    Hello guys,

I have noticed for some time that the movie posters in HT are displayed blurred (screenshot is attached).
The Zidoo is plugged into the Denon AV receiver, which as well is plugged into a Samsung 4K OLED TV. All devices are connected via HDMI. I have tried to adjust the sharpness on the TV and the AV receiver but there has been no improvement.
The original picture has a resolution of 2000 x 3000 pixels and looks much sharper on the PC and on the cell phone (see 2 attachments).
Zidoo and HT have the latest updates. Since I own a 77 inch TV, I create my own posters that have a similar high resolution.

Are the posters from Zidoo automatically compressed or have I set something wrong?
Are there other users who also have this problem?

Obviously the poster image has to be scaled to the size it's displayed onscreen and the UI itself is 1920 x 1080p.

You'll get the best UI image by choosing 1920 x 1080p as the UI resolution, but it's more practical to have a UI resolution of 4K in which case the already scaled down image has to be then upscaled and loses some definition.

Poster scale on the posterwall will of course depend which view you choose, but the resolution of the actual poster on the details page is 504 x 759 which would therefore be the optimal size for that view - but there's little point going to those lengths!!

The new AML boxes have the option of a 4K UI with much better poster resolution.

I wonder why Zidoo didn't equip the Z9X with a 4K UI. It already supports 4K.

Is there a way to fix that?
For example if the resized images are stored somewhere, to correct/edit them afterwards? Does that make any sense at all, if it is possible?

So you mean that the Z9X Pro would not have this problem? It should have already a 4K UI right?

Neither Z9X not Z9X Pro support a 4K UI - I think it's an Android limitation. It's only the AML players that support a 4K UI.
