I just received my Z2000 Pro and am having a problem getting the built in SAMBA server to work as expected. I've installed an internal hard drive, but when I try to access via the SMB, I'm only seeing a "$RECYCLE.BIN" folder. None of the 5,000 plus movies seem to be accessible.

I had the SAMBA share working with my previous Z10 Pro.

Is there a configuration setting I'm missing so that I can access and upload new files without manually removing the drive and docking on my work station?

    Please let me know. Thanks.

I had similar issue with the z9x pro.
For a few days it worked and then I was unable to access the shared folders on my network...both via SMB and NFS.
Had to do factory reset...now it all works again...for now.

On ver. v1.0.52 there is a problem with SMB, update to 1.0.60 and it's ok

Thanks. I updated to 1.0.65 and now I see the folders in the installed hdd. Unfortunately, the system goes to standby mode shortly after accessing these drives. I've searched through settings, and I can't find anything that looks like it would send the player to sleep.... Not sure why it isn't really working for me. I'm hoping the next update will help...
