New firmware v1.0.40 for ZIDOO X6 release

    More than 2 months since an update and so little response to questions for many products.

    This is not the sign of a company so ken to sell on the back of it's support.

    Don't update! If you have something working somehow, don't upgrade firmware! You never know what to expect and downgrade is impossible - you will need to wipe your device and flash from pc, risk to brick device. Just be happy you have this thing even working.

    Sadly, there is no Cyanogenmod or TWRP so better don't upgrade. Leave as is

    first thing i recomand is to export the library to somewhere in a root folder. then clear data for zdmc, to reset the app.
     
  4. @HoneCharles, any scope of an update for this device? It has been more than two months.

    It sure would be nice to get an update that fixes a few of the issues from the last handful of updates.

    seems rather than fix the problems on a box they launch a new one...

    just for the newbies: this is how it works
    -> zidoo does not fix critial issues
    -> zidoo prefers to add new features.. also causing way more bugs (and some bugs are of course critical.. and will never be solved)
    ...and don't even expect good support .. this does not exist with zidoo

    me too.. and this is just our problem ..
    but again: so, what? :)

    .. newer posts did not show any improvement in any case (not in support, not in functionality, not in nothing) ..
    at the end of the day what matters is that we are wasting our time with zidoo

    still. you must be new here. because zidoo has one of the best support when it comes to TV boxes. They are activ on forum. They may not fix all the little bugs, thats true. But they are not dead silent either.

    Little bugs? AV sync is the BASIC thing for any video device. If I knew what I know now... Like those crap with Rockchip and all those fake ass paid reviews of X6 Pro before presale's... Even now, one year later.

    Av sync is warking for me just fine. i had to wipe the data in zdmc once the firmware update was out for the fix to work tho. Reset ZDMC and see if you still have problems

    For sure I know that. What we have here is a few users (for every Zidoo model) with their fantastic devices. For them everything is working just fine. Should I continue?

    I will give you a recording with a movie playing with subtitles on on my x6 once i get home.
