Hey guys, I have a problem with nfs in Kodi/zdmc. I cannot acces my NFS share. If i use the explorer app then connection with NFS is no problem. so it seems like it is in ZDMC/Kodi. I have had this problem before on a M8S box. Wich i solved by using Openelec instead of android/kodi. But now the same problem arrises again when using the Zidoo. I want to solve the problem now because i am verry happy with the Zidoo box. I have my NFS server running on a Zyxel Nsa310s Nas. I read that i should edit the /etc/exports file. But it is working on the Zidoo only not in Kodi. Anyone an idea what to do? Can i telnet the zidoo and edit the /etc/exports file? Or is it something in Kodi?
I had the same problem -> no NFS in Zidoo :/ For me, the reason is that XBMC/Kodi developers have decided to focus on SMB protocol ; for years ago, there were 3 network protocols available in XBMC : AFP, NFS, and Samba ... Now, AFP have completely disappear from Kodi, I guess it will be the same for NFS in any future version/update ...
