Removing tiles from page

Probably stupid question, how can I remove the TED and Hulu tiles from my front window?

ok so next stupid - and related question.

now that has gone (thanks) is there a way i can add extra rows to the front page apps, rather than them going off the screen to the right and me having to scroll?

(ideally a full desktop type functionality would be the dream but barring that just control over the tiles would be ok)

I opted for NOVA launcher which allows you do do everything you want (and more, may be too much) but you need a good mouse to use it.

 

I am using TV Launcher from Awesome Development. I really like it and find it customizable and user friendly.

Simple TV Launcher from Alexandre del Bigio is another useful alternative. It's free but less customizable, anyway it works fine if few tiles are used.

Both of them works fine with remote control
