Audio and video not supported?

 

there is NOT any player that support H264 Hi10P , only HTPC with software decoding.

New UHD players support only h.265 10 bit not old version H264 Hi10P.

 

How can I select other player likes mxplayer to play it? I can play it using mxplayer software decoding method in my mobile. Thanks

 

nope , also nvidia shield most powerful player have some problem with Hi10P.
Convert Hi10P video to h.265 10 bit.

but ...try and see ....maybe work.

 

I still like to have the choice to choose alternative player in both Media Center/Theater and in ZDMC.
I think is a very easy modification, and solves some unsupported format (like Divx 5).
Unluckily Zidoo haven't yet answered

 

you can use all alternative player: mx player , Archors video player ..... using "Android Mediaplayer" as API decoder .... but only for local file not network shared folder SMB/NFS.

Hi10P need HTPC power with i3 or i5 CPU or you have skipped/jump frame.
x9s/x10 never can play this format , relatek need update SDK.

 

I tried it now..a lot of video stutterings..it seems auto switch frame rate doesn't work.

 

I used MX player on several non-zidoo android boxes, including one that is S912 with 3GByte RAM, they all played miserably, and MX player cannot loop-all over network share files, the last time I powered S912 box up a month ago.

My current solution to varies video format is to have X9S and H6 Pro connected to the same TV, using X9S almost all the time primarily due to H6 Pro less than ideal issue with Bluetooth and remote control, and not supporting RMVB video format.
