DVD External Drive

    Is it possible to attach an external USB DVD Drive.?
    Have tried but appears not to be recognised

    According to this YouTube video there IS a Japanese app that can mount any optical usb disc drive:

    You have to pay $3.23 to use the USB mount part of the app
    Tried and it recognised the DVD drive.
    However I could only get it to play using the Video Player but it was fast both sound and vision, like fast forward.
    All others including VLC, Kodi would not play.
