How do I add artist name when importing via Eversolo server?

Hi,
I've had some problems with ripping some of my CD:s directly on the Eversolo. So I've managed to rip them on my Mac, but when I transfer the files via the server the artist name is not included. How do I add the artist name? Many thanks for taking the time.

 

All I do is rip the CDs on my computer with a software service that tags automatically. Then I transfer them through the network onto my NAS or in your case SSD).

I have transferred the onto the SSD and all the information is there, but when I add the album to library the artist name doesn't show up. I can search for the album and find it, but it is not under the artist name where the other albums are (the ones I managed to rip directly onto Eversolo)

Edit: Maybe the artist information isn't on the files. Maybe I have to use a different rip-software?

The crappy built-in ripper on the Eversolo doesn't write meta data to the Artist field. Yes, it's crazy, but true!!

 

Yup, it would need access to a cloud service for that.
