How do I get the Z9X Pro to "remember" the NAS as a source?

The Z9X finds the NAS and the shared folder...it scans...and populates HT4. All is well...until I power the unit off and then back on...then HT4 is no longer populated and the source shows as 0/0 files...unscanned (but is still in the source list).

I have tried using SMB and NFS.

I have a 'user' set up for the player in DSM with read/write access.

I did not have this problem when using an external HDD.

    Any help is appreciated!

I can only help telling you that the connect is working here with synology. it stays even with cutting power completely every night.
if I remember correctly you do not link it in home theater settings but before, in general settings, maybe network? the you just add the folder in ht4 as source
good luck! make sure you are on v0.75

When you say "until I power the unit off" do you mean the Zidoo or the NAS?

I use a Synology NAS. It's on 24/7. However I've had a few power outages but never seen any issues afterwards. The drives are always connected to the Zidoo. I connect via SMB.

Turns out I did not have the Z9X Pro on a fixed IP address...only the NAS. Once I had both on a fixed IP address...the Z9X Pro "remembered" the shared folder on my NAS as a source.

WoW. That's important info. But how come, since NAS had the fixed IP before?
