Can you tell us if the unit has failed certification? Did Roon ban Zidoo/Eversolo because of DMP-A6 debacle? I cannot fathom why this thing is not Roon Ready yet. @mirror, can you at least tell us if you're still pursuing Roon Ready certification, or have you guys given up trying to get it certified?
It's a work around if you really want Roon, you have to activate LMS in Roon and on the A8 so that Roon will recognize it, it was written on the forum somewhere, I don't have Roon anymore so I can't give more details. But you can also ask on the Roon forum why the certification takes so long.
After the latest Roon software release of a few days ago my A8 shows up as a Roon endpoint and seems to be interfacing fine. Check for yourself now.
Ahhh, you’re right Govnah. I guess I just got excited that it was showing up at all and could now finally be used with Roon.
