Not sure why I hadn't thought of this before, but I just tried sideloading Roon ARC on the DMP-A8 and it installed. However, when I click on Login, I get an error message saying "Something went wrong." Anyone else try this? Any thoughts on why I can't even log in?
Ok, well I think it has something to do with not being able to sign in via Chrome or Google Playstore. There may be a way to do it but I'm in over my head on Android hacking.
So close. I had to install Chrome and log into Roonlabs and then was able to launch and connect to my Roon ROCK with Roon Arc. It even scales to the DMP-A8 screen. However, I cannot get audio through yet. I'm guessing I need to make the A8 look like an Android phone but aren't sure that I want to go that far with tweaking in fear that I'll screw up lots of other stuff on the A8.
