Music through HDMI Out (IIS)

Hello All,
Very impressed with the A8 so far. However I can not get any output from the HDMI Output (IIS) to play. I have HDMI input on my Anthem AVM 70, checked all configurations , but still no signal shows up at the Anthem.
What configuration must be used to get HDMI Output to work?

IIS is not HDMI, it just happens to use an HDMI standard plug.

 

What Nutul said. The A8 just uses an HDMI connector but the pinout for HDMI vs. IIS are completely different.

I posted a link up here to a little widget I bought on aliexpress that takes in IIS-HDMI and converts it to both toslink and coax SPDIF. You may want to try that yourself with your AV70.

 

Sounds like I need to get educated on what IIS is. How do I find out more about it. When I google the term I get Internet Information Services.
How does that relate to the A8 and how can I learn more about IIS?
