That’s an Opensubs.com or maybe .org that applies only in some countries. Use a VPN to get around it or try another subtitle site.
Hi, How do i tell zidoo to try another site? I am talking about the download feature of the zidoo player that has the problem....
Oh really! I thought you were referring to downloading on a PC or MAC. As far as I know there is no way to configure Zidoo to use a different subtitle site. That message is often seen on PC downloads, in some countries.
I just checked on my PC. No problem from Sydney Australia but if I use Opera browser with Asia as a VPN I need to log into the site. So depending on where Zidoo accesses Opensubtitles might be the source of the problem.
I’m on firmware Zidoo Firmware Version v6.4.62_G_202304191454 HT v4.2.50 My firmware is before they stripped the source details out of the subs in version ……65 Just checked and 3 sets of subs appeared with all the details. no vpn just local Telstra internet.

6.4.62 works fine on my UHD3000 no glitches I've experienced. For me its solid but I won't go to 65. No I didn't download the subs initially - just did and I get the same message. Also people using KODI are having problems. Until it gets sorted the only workaround is to independently look for and download the subs.
Ok so its a general problem from opensubtitles, lets hope the zidoo team fixes it (i think its simple to go from the API of opensubtitle.org to com)
