Just an fyi to anyone interested as this was always difficult for me to find online. I’ve got 2 8tb and 1 5tb drive hooked to a powered usb hub and all 20TB of hi rez music scanned into the library of the a6. I always search on artist - and pick the albums from there. And that is all very fast. I’m coming up with an approach for classical as searching is a bit more difficult. As I search and find my go to recordings - I’m pushing them to album favorites. Over time I think that will help.
So good question. It shows as about 15-19k per drive. Now I’m not sure if it reads an .iso is considered 1 track or not. Because it’s all hi Rez it eats up a lot of space. I just wanted people to see somebody was doing it Now the drives do not like partitions or any large reserved space / special formatting of the disks. I had to copy hard drives that had 100 meg of empty disk at the beginning and just copy pasted things in bulk to a new hard disk.
