    Greetings!
Some times I have power offs, and when it comes back transmission clears the list of downloads, so I need to add them manually again. So I need to turn on "watch directory" in order to make Transmission add torrents from the folder automatically every time when power comes back.
I tried to turn on "watch directory" in OpenWrt webui but it is not working.
I tried to open config via ssh but I have no permission even when I login as root.

What am I doing wrong? What should I do to turn on "watch directory"?

    1) connect to ssh with root
    2) enter "vi /etc/init.d/transmission"
    3) put "sleep 30" on the first line like on screenshot
    4) push esc type ":wq"
    5) reboot

the line "sleep 30" is there after reboot but download list is cleared

yah. startup also not working for me with updated transmission ( bad gateway ) . do a reboot using ssh
/etc/init.d/transmission stop then start should work.

so I will need to do that every time before rebooting the box?
PS after start/stop all downloads are there

Increase the sleep timer. Try 50 or 60 seconds. Wait that time after starting the box. Before accessing transmission.
