Z1000 Pro - Dolby Digital plus - no audio

E-AC3 is passed through correctly on my set up (running the latest f/w) via hdmi with no issues.

 

That depends on EDID, but anyway, did you do that by ZDMC since it has transcoding engine inside (it can transcode AAC 5.1 do AC3 5.1 which Zidoo player cannot) or you used Zidoo internal player and had E-AC3 pass through.

 

Fully aware of EDID.....so, assuming one has a chain that can render Dolby Digital Plus aka E-AC3 (plain or Atmos varitant), it get's passed through fine via both ZDMC (not sure what codec transcoding has to do with passthrough, but anyway) and HT4 this end.
