Is there any plans to upgrade the OS of this gen of devices to Android 11+? I think I am unable to use many nice(er) music players and other apps due to the old version of Android. Mostly the apps are not able to access files stored on hard drives. The hardware is greatly held back because of this.
Zidoo dont release a new range every year and Apple are a $$$$. billion Dollar company that make even more money from you after you buy there products Zidoo Is a totally different product as such hence why os is non upgradable to cpu as such .
By the way, it's related to the SOC from Realtek, and the SDK coming with it I think. Not sure that Zidoo have the hand on this kind of thing.
Let me add Android 9 is the only Android version missing MPEG-DASH protocol, which could be useful in many ways in Zidoo implementation and it appears in Android 11 again. Upgrading Android should be mandatory in serious companies, there is no acceptable defense for lack of OS upgrade, sorry for saying it this way.
