I connected DMP to my home theater receiver via HDMI and played some spacial audio tracks via built in apple app and was only able to get 2 channel sound. I don't show spacial audio check box as I usually see on the android app. Any ideas?
You’re most welcome. In movies Dolby Atmos has 5.1 or 7.1 discrete base layer data, then uses the metadata to map to the overhead speakers. In music, the Dolby Atmos base layer is only 2 discrete channel and that’s what you get when it’s unsupported, even though HDMI allows multi-channel. Only discrete multi-channel audio is supported.
