No official ota online update available yet
I see the v1.2.7 on the forum..
don't want to introduce new or more severe problems with unofficial Update
But, question, do you loose all your apps when you update firmware?
Never done this I usually just get a new device (phone)...;)

you don't if the update goes as planed. there is always a risk. but the update is stable. lot of fixes from .3 to .7.

just make sure to read how to do it. and how to flash a new firmware in case update fails. you never know. I did allot of updates on x6 pro and x9s and never had any problems so far. just don't rush it. first boot after update takes allot of time

Fw update went well on v1.2.7 now
The ui is a lot snappier..
Anktutu bench score was 34808 now 39245

But my openwrt ftp samba problem still persists no usb2 or usb3 mount points
I can acess these drives locally via explorer and xdmc and home theatre
And the box can see and access my network as before.
But I still can't map or ftp the x9s externals to any of my devices..mac pc or android tablet
I have not tried the Sata port so can't comment on that one
Other minor issues persist as well..won't detail them here

Anyone able to make this work I read something about installing openwrt dependancies
But that's beyond my ability at this point in time.

    Anyway shouldn't be that hard
