    1. Recording is done with the source of 25 frames, why it writes to the variable frame rate, rather than the constant?
    Frame rate mode : Variable
    Frame rate : 24.911 FPS
Because of this zido player when playing sets 24Hz instead of 50Hz.
We need to make it so
    Frame rate mode: Constant
    Frame rate: 25.000 FPS

    2. Very poor sound quality! Why such a small bitrate?
    Bit rate: 32.1 kb / s
    We must make a choice.
And so normal quality or higher
    Bit rate mode: Constant
    Bit rate: 192 kb / s

That's the 1.2.3 which is a factory firmware.
Did you install the newest firmware?

on 1.2.6 I see jitter with a 1080p source on the HDMI screen, without even recording.
set the PIP HDMI window to PIP and I can see interlace issues (still from a 1080p source)..
This makes no sense but it is what I am seeing..
Set the PIP to full screen and I can see small amounts of combing in horizontal moving
video scenes... this also is interlacing.... and aside from the jitter issue...
So something is messed up with HDMI in before it even goes to record it.

It's odd.... I got the same result when my one was a factory setting. Now I'm recording at 30fps with 12~20 Mbps. I recommend you to reset your X9S.

I see 29,97 fps but you are talking about 30.
I have also been a source of 25 fps and recorded 24.911.
How many fps you have in the source?

the bit rate is very low

I knew. I rounded it up. The source was a PS4 which is 1080p@60.

Don't say that. I've already written about it, and the post was blocked.

@x9x What was the frequency of the signal from your source?

    59.94 before rounding up.
