I’ve noticed that after I play an MKV file the info page is nicely updated with resolution, frame rate and if HDR. Is there a way to make this info populate without first playing the movie? I’d love to know if it’s HDR prior to hitting “play” so I can set my projector to the correct mode.
I don't think that you can get info on the file prior playing it. Maybe you could analyze it before with your pc, but in the end it's just the same: you have to 'play' it to know all the inf0...
Doesn’t it seem like it should able to populate that information without having to play it? I know when I had a Zappiti it did.
What do you mean by this? I know which files are 4K/HDR. But if one of my kids dials up a movie, they have no idea...
