    Hi Bug Team

My Z1000 Pro machine is unable to play this mkv file (I've attached the media info). Its in fact the first time I've encountered a piece of media which this box is unable to handle.
I have this entire series which was created with the same mkv codec, and the problem occurs across all these files, so the issue is not just one file specific.

VLC or Potplayer plays this file with no problems.

Can I ask that you please fix this as part of your next firmware update?

Please also let me know if you require me to send you any additional information.

    Best
    Roger

    Update:
The workaround for this, is to install ZDMC. (I try not to install unnecessary software on the machine if I dont need/use it, to keep it as clean as possible. All of the fancy Android media players I've tried from the Google Play store just doesn't work properly on the Zidoo box).

But within the ZDMC settings for the player, just toggle off the option which says "Use External Player". Then, open up the media file from within ZDMC.

    Cheers

There are no red flags in the mediainfo report.

By toggling the external player off in ZDMC you're changing from the Zidoo Player (external to ZDMC) to the standard Android player which is presumably more forgiving for whatever's wrong with the file.

Does changing the name to Perfect Strangers (1986) S01E06.mkv allow it to play?

Maybe try running it through MKVToolnix and see if that fixes it?

I normally use VideoProc for those type of things. But would then need to do it for 150 titles :)

Running this through ZDMC is relatively painless. All good thanks.
