Things to improve…

Hi there, since the end of last year I use the dmp a6 as a pre amplifier/streamer. It is a well built and I think it is well built, looks great and has a lot to offer. As allways there are things to improve, especially in the software department (or is it me?):

    CD playback/ripping
I have used a cheap reader writer, an new apple superdrive, an new expensive and very well built OWC pro 24 and finally a new HP (LG) as recomended in the Eversolo videos on this subject. Neither of these players manages to play a cd continuously without interuptions or total cut out. The HP at least plays on after a quick reread of the section where it stopped. But all in all it was not able to play (new) cd’s I have not tried ripping.

    Start up
When starting up (too slow!) there is a noticeable clicking sound through the speakers

    Input selection
is very slow and it could be more clearly represented both on the display and the remote.

    Equalizer
Very happy Eversolo added this feature. How to make the best use of both types of equalisation is a riddle. I cannot use the single or parametric as I simply do not know how to do what and why.
Fortunately I do not need this feature but I would like to be able to play and discover. I have bought 2 amp f2’s and they mellowed down after a couple of weeks and I really like the sound they provide with my Technics SB-E100 horns. I can wholeheartedly endorse these amps, the sound neutral to slightly warm. I don’t think the really provide the power they advertise but the they perform wonderfull and without distortion into the low nineties.

    Output
I use xlr balanced and suddenly noticed a decline in output level. After changing the output to rca/xlr and back the output regained the normal level.

    Design
The design and layout of information does not make the best use of the beautiful display . I would like to be able to choose what kind of info I want to see. The VU meter design could be more 3d and being able to choose a background colour with a certain meter would be nice.

    Remote
I do not think much users sit close enough to their equiptment so a remote with more features would be appreciated.

If there is anyone with tips or advise or other bugs, please give your input
