Hi! Has anybody here managed to make Kodi using the Zidoo Player as an external player by using a PCF (playercorefactory.xml) like described here: https://kodi.wiki/view/External_player ? Not knowing the path to the Zidoo player executable, i am already failing at line 3+4 of the PCF....
It won't work I'm afraid. ZDMC has additional code over and above PCF, If you install stock Kodi and use PCF it will error out and not play the file (needs code to call the Zidoo player by API too).
Maybe the Zidoo devs reveal what is needed so we (or somebody that is skilled) can do it ourselves and don’t need to beg them all the time…
Do you know something or were you involved in the creation of ZDMC @bob ? You helped me a lot with the forced subtitles and the issue was fixed in the firmware.
