    Hi everyone. I have a doubt that I would like to clear. I hope you can help me. I have a Zidoo UHD3000 and I also use it as an audio streamer connected via USB to an external DAC. The application I use is UAPP and it works great, I don't have any problems, it reads everything perfectly. The question is the following: since I use the UHD3000 only as a transport via USB cable to an external DAC, would it make sense to buy an eversolo DMP-A6 to always use it only as a transport to the external DAC? Qualitatively, do you think I would improve something or would nothing change? Thanks to those who reply

    If you are using it as a pure streamer and are happy with the UHD3000's GUI and that it handles all of your files, I see no reason to change.

    Imaodoloro and Nutul like this.

    Yes, use as a pure streamer to an external DAC. I don't use the zidoo GUI but the USB Audio Player Pro application and I transmit to the zidoo via the UPNP/DLNA protocol and everything works perfectly, both Tidal, Flac, DSD, etc...etc...My point was if by switching to the Eversolo DMP-A6 and still using it as a pure streamer, I could improve something qualitatively

    In fact own both an A6 Standard Edition and also the UHD3000. The Internal DAC sound is very close and for External DAC there won't be a difference. The Music Player of A6 is a lot better than the one coming with UHD3000. But UAPP is also a fine APP for just playing Local Albums. UAPP won't work with an Eversolo (as the Play Store won't be accessible for UAPP license checking).

    Exactly. It is absolutely not worth buying the DMP-A6 to have the same audio quality. I don't use the UHD3000's music player, in fact when I listen to music I don't need to turn on the TV. UAPP is not installed in the Zidoo but only in the tablet and I perform the cast by selecting the UHD3000 (UPNP). Everything works great and I play Flac, DSD Native, Tidal and Qobuz without any problems

    Chose UAPP as player app for my previous streamer (less quality than UHD3000) and it's very fine as a music player for Android and high quality streaming via USB.
    I'd really like to test it for the A8 (there are apks) out of curiosity... No idea, if it can access the A8's USB ports due to EOS or A8's Android compatibility level in general.

    For streaming via USB, yes there are significant differences between combinations of streamer - DAC.
    E.g. Himedia Q10 pro plus UAPP plus USB isolator differs widely from DMP A8 (soundwise; identical source files).
    Yes, Keith will intervene, but i'm right. At least when judging for my ears.
    Amen!

    @Ecki
    A8 and UAPP won't go. Same problem as with A6 (No Play Store).

    Right, but there are UAPP-APK files for direct installation. So one could try
