No, just the Google Play Store.

Personally I never use G firmware.

Upgraded my Z9X Pro last night (Using the G firmware) and when I come out of watching a movie or TV shows, I just get a black screen until I press back again.

Not a massive issue, but slightly annoying. Other than that, everything is working as it should.

What HDMI color range should I set for LG OLED C8? 16-235 or 0-255?

Zidoo z9x pro. Firmware without Gapps, v1.0.86. When playing HLS streams with the built-in player, the time on the set-top box and the viewing scale on the player are displayed incorrectly. This has been happening since the very first firmware v1.0.52.

I currently have no problems whatsoever with my Z9X Pro so I'm gonna leave well enough alone. I did notice a minor annoyance. Most of the time I'll hit play and a movie will immediately start but occasionally it takes anywhere from 5-8 seconds to start and I've noticed that the "path" to the file doesn't appear at the bottom of the screen, then as soon as it appears the movie will start, like it's taking longer than normal to find the file. Could that be when I choose a movie that's on a hard drive attached to a USB 3.0 input? Like I said, not annoying enough to update the firmware.

EDIT: BTW, remember that problem I had with the time 12:00 to 12:59 appearing as 00:00 etc? That fixed itself before I installed the 1.085 update. A lot of problems I've had with electronics fixed themselves without updates. Just an FYI.

    P
Could be just the time it takes for the drive to wake up if it’s gone to sleep (sleep settings in Settings/Other/HDD Sleep).

    Hi
    To anyone interested :

Downloaded subs still do not show the info of subs(eg 1080p,webtv etc)

Audio offset still does not work

and now trailers in HT do NOT work (in 1.0.75 they worked fine).

It only gets worse, do not download if the above is crucial for you!

I am waiting like 6 months now to get downloaded subtitles in Portuguese to work again, will it be correctly on the next firmware? and the older z9x will get the update too or just the new one?

But why? This review from the file below says it should be 0-255 - due to errors in the Realtek processor

Movies are encoded with Limited range, not 0-255.

Seems like the new Realtek processor needs some tweaking to get best performance. I doubt any of these media processor makers have the clout to get the chip maker to look into these issues to find work arounds for best performance. Sad to say my best player picture wise remains my OPPO. OPPO used to work with the chip designers to try and get the maximum potential from the chipset.

Why not try tiny media manager to do the subs for you works great for everything else and has this in the app hopefully this will work for you.
