    Can some one check the lan connection just after the start of the zidoo?
    Randomly mine is disconnected

    Never had that - most probably just a dodgy RJ45.

    It is a new cable..and it started with the new firmware..so i thought it might be causing freezes.
    it doesnt happen every time.

    I don't think it's a network issue (could be wrong) - I assume some people reporting the issue are streaming from internal or USB attached storage.

    Be handy if someone can confirm that though...

    my freezes come from streaming of the NAS. ( but they are rare)

    Ive played back 8 different tv episodes now some in 1080p and 4 in 4K and & 1 in Dolby vision and using vs10
    And as yet seen no freezes or …….?
    Note: is this to short a usage / watching time frame to see issues ?

    on 1.80 non G
    Using a LG - G4
    AV Receiver Yamaha
    Internal only ssd ( no server / Streaming etc )

    is this all server issues or both internal drives effecting everyone ?

    All my videos are streamed from a Synology NAS

    Maybe everyone can say if there using / streamed / server etc
    Or Internal drive only may help get to the bottom of this issue.

    My one issue so far was viewing via one of the UHD8000 's Internal Drives a HDR10 DTS HD-MA 5.1 title

    Blenky, have you ever tried the same movie that gives problems to place it on a usb stick and than directly in your mediaplayer
    to determine if this makes any difference?

    Dont know if this is a .80 issue or my win 10 pc sharing issue

    Around same time that .80 dropped ,i also upgraded my PC eth card to a 2.5GB one ,added a 2.5 GB 5 port switch and swapped my router to a TP link wifi 7 Mesh x2 with 2.5gb eth ports
    Im still only on 300/100 Fibre ,but with 2 x streaming 2k lan Cams running 24/7 ,i wanted to open up bandwidth around the house
    Still use Ethernet to the Z30 8k

    whats changed is ,every time i start up my Z30 8k now ,i have to rescan for my PC and then reload the login and pass
    Never used to have this issue except on the odd Win10 update patch screwing network sharing
    Passwords off on the zidoo network tab and i have no issues from PC back to the HDDs on the Zidoo usb or internal slots

    what am i missing ,cheers

    For those who encountered random shutdowns or freezing issues, I find that clearing the cache for HT app (under the settings-other menu) restored the stability of my zidoo P30 pro!
    Pending a new firmware to resolve this, this method appears to be a temporary solution while waiting for the new firmware. I am pleased to report my unit was very stable after doing this...
    Before this, my unit shutdown and restarted numerous times while watching any TV episodes etc. Hope this helps for those who are facing similar issues after the 1.80 update

    OK I copied a problematic DV file to a USB and connected to my Z9X 8K.

    No matter what I do or what part I play I get NO judder\stutter playing from USB.

    Playing the same file from my NAS via media center (to remove Ht5 from the equation) about 8 out of 10 times I get stutter every 10 seconds or so.

    Don't know if this means anything - but I can't get a stutter from an attached USB.

    Note that this file plays fine from my NAS using Infuse on my ATV

    Mine are connected via usb and they stop, have to press rewind, and then play and then they play again. I have tried several different usb drives and it happens with them all and from all usb ports.

    Maybe thats one reason none of my 4k movies ,DV or HDR are having any issues . I play them all from 4 or 5 TB HDD plugged in to my USB

    The TV epis are all played via SMB and ive only had 2 instances of Pause/Continue with .80 and no stuttering
