I've had a similar issue with my X10. When I try to power down, I get this pop-up that gives me choices which normally wasn't there. Really annoying, but worse yet, it does power down, but then it boots back up 10 sec later like clockwork. Either with the Power button on the remote or clicking on the Power icon I added to the customized bar). Why is there a problem with turning the thing off? Yes, I have to revert to the rear panel power switch to shut it down.
