No, I'm not making this up. Mostly it affects the left side, specifically the 1'st digit of the 5 digit readout (hours, minuted, seconds). I notice it upon boot up, the 1st letter of the greeting "H". Impossible to miss. I set the display to show elapsed time on playback, the 'hour' digit is the one affected. Changing it from bright to dim only make matters worse. I've never saw any LCD display that has a variance like this. My old X10 doesn't have it and it appears to be the same or similar display. Anyone else?? This is the 'Pro' version if that matters with the last F/W.
You could try reseating the ribbon cable connected to the display but other than that I'd assume a faulty display.
The bright areas are far brighter than the X10 display, the others seem dimmer than the X10. I've never saw this type of display do this. They usually just get dimmer across the entire area.
