The Wi-Fi driver issue has been reported to the chipset manufacturer, and we’re currently waiting for an updated driver from them. We’re following up with them on a daily basis, and as soon as we receive the update, we’ll release a new firmware version to address the issue. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Beta firmware 1.0.0.11 released to address the Wifi connection compatibility issue. Please try and let us know your feedback. Thanks
Have confirmed, it has connected, and I have web browser control via the PC. Awesome, thanks very much
we found a bug in the new Wifi driver that may cause the X9 to reboot automatically, we are working with the chipset manufacturer on it and expecting to have a update shortly.
the file size for the download on that link is different to the .10 I downloaded a couple of days ago, although only slightly. Did you try it anyway? The rest of the page does state the firmware update notes, so perhaps it's a button text issue? I updated by connecting to my phone wifi hotspot and doing the upgrade and beta option in the about menu. After this it connects to my wifi with no issues.
Starvald, Thanks brother, we’re up and running! Do you have some demo tracks to recommend, I use Qobuz.
I had WiFi working for a short time on the .10 version. After updating to the .12 version (over WiFi!) I cannot connect to WiFi again. Router is a AVM FritzBox 7590 AX. Please advise.
We will look into this issue. Please download the 1.0.0.10 firmware and perform a local upgrade https://luxsinaudio.com/pages/download
I've done this. I can connect to WiFi, but after a restart, it does not connect again (shows connection failed). An observation: I see quite a few neighboring networks (about 30). Could it be that the list of networks considered is too short. What fits this suspicion is that the list of available networks changes every time I refresh the list. The networks I try to connect to are from the same router with different names for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz network. The network names are unique. According the the Luxsin device UI they have full signal strength.
Firmware 1.0.0.10 has an known bug for Wifi password, when your wifi password contain # or ; , X9 not able to reconnect the wifi after a restart. Would you please try again by removing them from your Wifi password?
We checked the AVM FritzBox 7590 AX router, which is not available in China. Could you please try disabling the Wi-Fi 6 option and test the connection again? Also, under firmware version 1.0.0.10, please ensure that your SSID does not contain special characters like # or ; Additionally, we’re planning to release a beta firmware next week that will address the issue related to forgotten Wi-Fi passwords.
The SSID does not contain special characters. I disabled WiFi 6. Does not improve the behavior. Actually at the moment I cannot connect to WLAN at all (WiFi 4, 2.4 GHz).
After some more observation over the weekend: The behavior seems to be erratic. Sometimes it just connects after being switched on, sometimes it cannot be convinced to do so. All this without changing the WiFi settings.
It connected 15 minutes after switching the device on. Seems to keep trying. I would still hope that this could be improved.
I have problems to connect to, I can connect to my phones hotspot, but can't find the x9 on the network, so can't use the app, because it's not the same network as my phone is connected to because it makes its own network. I can't update to beta, I can check the box for receive beta version, but it still says the latest version is 1.0.0.10. I can't seem to update via usb on pc either, have downloaded the eversonlo installer that was downloaded when I was looking for x9 drivers, but did not get any further, could not find the beta files on the x9 website either. How could I proceed now?
