If you use the screen turn off timer (30 seconds etc) the wifi will disconnect shortly after the screen turns off. There is no way to reconnect withot powering the unit down. Thanks!
The disconnect isn't related to the screen turn off function. My mistake. I think again it is radio inference. After a power-on the the device would connect and i can ping it. A short time later (one or two) minutes it would disconnect. I had the same issue a month ago. I fixed the issue by switching to use my 5ghz network. It has been perfect until yesterday. In don't known what changed. Maybe more local wifi networks make for even more crowded airways. I don't know. I have got it working well again. In don't know what fixed it though. I rebooted it a few times. removed an unused usb cable and tightened the nuts on the antennas. (desperation) For info: The unit is less than ten feet from the router and my TV and wiim mini do not have any connection issues. All are on the same network. It's a very minor issue and obviously doesn't interfere with the wonderful sound! But it would be great to for the connection to be more reliable. Thanks again.
