Hi, today I noticed a problem with my brand-new X9. When the brightness of the volume knob is set to medium or bright, there’s an unpleasant noise — a low-frequency whining sound, similar to capacitor or coil whine. It’s louder when set to bright. I only hear it when using IEMs. Is my unit defective, or could this be a software issue? Thanks in advance!
Thank you for purchasing the X9. We will look into the issue you mentioned right away and get back to you shortly
Today, as resellers, we started testing the Luxsin X9. When adjusting the volume to -25 and -26 dB, a popping sound can be heard in the headphones. The same issue occurs at -53 and -54 dB. It only happens when increasing or decreasing the volume, and we have identified the issue only at these two volume levels. What is the solution to this? Thank you for the information.
This is not an issue; it is a normal phenomenon. Users can hear popping sounds in their headphones when adjusting the volume. This occurs due to the operation of the R2R volume control system. When the volume adjusts from -25dB to -26dB, the sound may be slightly more noticeable as multiple relays activate simultaneously.
Don’t take it the wrong way — we really like the product. I’m just surprised that the popping occurs only at this specific volume level and not elsewhere.
