How can I force an update? I tried a factory reset, which didn't help. I'm still at 1.5.20. Is there a problem with my unit? Is there a site where I can download an update file? Thanks for your collective wisdom!
OTA updates are run out in batches according to the device's MAC address. It's almost 2 years we repeat the very same thing. If you really cannot wait, there is always the magik McBluna site, from where you can download the update.zip file, and update manually via USB stick. Now, don't even say that's difficult, c'mon.
Could you please confirm that your current version is indeed T8 v1.5.20? Based on this version, I am not aware of any available update package. For assistance with updating I recommend contacting the support team directly.
UPDATE: I contacted After Service Support (https://www.eversolo.com/Contact/afterservice.html) Using the MAC address of my unit, they pushed out an update for me. I suspect most units started with the 1.5.25 firmware, and that a few of us received units that escaped that update prior to shipping. If your T8 is stuck on 1.5.20, I recommend this course of action.
