Edit: I'm mistaken I confused the z3000 for the a6.

 

Never had a problem with multichannel sound on my A6. But off topic here so I'll have to leave you to the Eversolo forums for that one.

 

Sorry if I misinterpreted this, but I thought it meant there would be a non-Beta 1.3.xx update today?

I'm not seeing anything when I try an OTA update on my Z9X 8K.

 

Was there for me (version 1.3.0.5_G) - all firmwares are Beta's btw

 

You need to check that beta box. Dont think any updates come through without.

 

Or maybe because the ratio between those who own a high-end model and those who own an entry-level one is decidedly shifted towards the latter, so there are many more testimonials and consequently many more complaints.

 

Interesting note about all firmwares being beta. Mine updated to 1.2.40 without the beta box being checked.

I'm not experiencing any issues at the moment, so if everything after that is beta I'm okay staying put for now.

 

I think the odd one gets made official, but for the most part, if youre following here for recent updates, checking the beta box is required.

 

Thanks! Like I said I haven't experienced any issues where I'm looking for a fix at the moment, so I'll stick with the old one for now.

 

Looks like I stand corrected. Even without the beta box checked I got the update to 1.3.05 on my Z9X 8K last night.

 

Kim you asked me to report back re the LPCM 5.1 bug. Unfortunately it is still there. It’s where the surround channels are incorrect. Surround left is silent and surround right plays the surround left channel for some reason. Would you be able to ask the devs for a fix?
