Since this is a pre-release, the files are only "non-G to non-G" or "G to G" - there isn't an option for direct "non-G to G".

However, you can update v1.2.22 to v1.2.22_G using this file:

    https://apidl.zidoo.tv/Z9X_8K/v1.2.22/Z9X-8K_R_v1.2.22_to_v1.2.22_G_202505222028_diff-package.zip

And then use the G firmware on Page 1 to update v1.2.22_G to v1.2.25_G

I just played a record and it turned out that one of the track names consists of digits only (the track name is 102752).

The track name displays correctly, but for some reason the cover art for that particular track does not display. It has the same image in the ID3 tag as all the other tracks so there is really no reason why it should not display in the same way as it does for all of the other tracks.

Perhaps just a freak thing and completely unrelated to digits in track names but sure smells fishy considering the issues observed and reported in this area.

Sdr BT2020 that is great news. Anybody try that feature out yet?

Other than it's been worked on, no.

Yes - it works but needs some work.

You have the option to set HDR content as SDR.2020 but at the moment it doesn't recognise SDR.2020 content if HDR is set to Auto.

(Ignorance train inbound): Is SDR.2020 for those who do not want HDR but want to keep WCG and resolutions above 1080p? Are there movies where this is how they were intended to be viewed by the creator?

The old usage case was for projectors when they were terrible at handling HDR, so an HDR signal would be tone mapped to SDR in the player but the wide colour gamut was retained - Panasonic were the pioneers of this in the early days in their BluRay players and it's very effective.

These days, particularly with DTM becoming more prolific it's kind of almost been forgotten about.

But the other use is actual SDR.2020 content - for some reason, and I only learned this recently, some content providers, for reasons best known to themselves choose a wide colour gamut but only use standard dynamic range - it's kind of like HLG without the HL bit!! Not very common, but it's out there.

Has anyone encountered this problem? Some MKV files lose sound after a pause. If you rewind a little, the sound comes back. I hadn't noticed this problem before. I think it happened after the update to v1.2.25 beta.

Yes I have exactly the same problem on some MKVs.

Thank you, so i'm not alone. I guess we have to wait for a next update. Thank you very much.

I've had this issue through several firmwares. Only happens with lossy sound. A pause\resume is enough to get sound back.

Doesn't work in my case, i need to do a couple clicks back or forward. Thank you very much for quick response.

Hi Mark, do you believe it would be possible to convert SDR 709 to SDR 2020? I need to leave my JVC projector with an SDR BT2020 profile active all the time, and this would be very helpful.

At the moment, no, only HDR10 - I'm not sure if it's possible or not, but there are better options with a JVC - which projector is it?

This issue is just 1-2 sec delay while HDMI handshaking.

On some files audio comes back after couple seconds, some files not.
