Folks should know, this is NOT authorized by Zidoo though.
I am wondering, if you download this and there is a problem, can you then reset your Zidoo and download updates from OTA Zidoo? So no harm done?

Zidoo is doing next to nothing! There website is crap. Some funcky update policy takes away all our control.
Now i cant even download the update!?

@Markswift2003 I performed preliminary tests with the new update. So far I have reproduced 4 DV movies by setting TV LED Passhrough (Auto) and the images are fluid, no stuttering. In addition, while viewing these movies I displayed the contextual menu of the options and also the info menu and the images remain fluid. Poster Wall is also more fluid and snappy. For the moment I can consider myself more than satisfied. I hope these first impressions are confirmed over time.

I converted the DVD to ISO, the menu opens but I can't navigate. I did something wrong. Help, please.

The problem with deploying by MAC address cluster is that it can take a very long time !

I hope it's not like some products (TVs, for example) where between the start of deployment
and the last batches of affected serial numbers receiving the update, there can sometimes be
a delay of several weeks to two or three months

 

am standing by with a huge supply of lighter fluid for those who choose to come here and set their hair on fire for our amusement. Maybe give it more than a couple of hours before you start posting about how long it is taking to receive the available update...

 

I don't see that as a bad thing.
Take your time and follow this thread for a few days before installing to make sure no new critical bugs have been introduced.

 

But if I manually download and install it now and it screws things up, then I get to come back here and constantly complain.

 

50 days so no ! This product dosent work i don’t want wait MORE !

 

My experience has actually been quite smooth other than the odd DV stutter, but I'm happy to see this drop as it really is the best MP experience I've had to this point in my life.

 

Does the firmware include the latest HT app or do we need to install that separately?
