I can turn off my DMP6 Master Edition over the control app (android), but there is no turn on avaliable... once the device is off, the device is not connected, anyway. I also connected the device to internet via cable, too. Is there a fix? Thanks.
No, there’s no fix, as this is the intended behaviour. The Gen 1 hardware has no Wake on LAN capabilities. If you search for your question here, you will find quite a few threads about this.
Hello, So I have a new DMP A6 Gen2 ME and have the same issue. I have the unit connected to the network by ethernet. And, in the network settings I have DHCP off. When I start the app with the unit off I see the same screen as the first screenshot posted above. it shows the correct unit and mac address. The system will not find the unit or offer a wake on lan option. NOW If I turn the unit on with the button, I can connect the app and see the screen on the second screenshot posted above. With that screen available I can turn the unit off with the power button in the upper right corner of the app and subsequently turn it back on and it gives me a wake on lan option and it works. IF I exit the app after turning the unit off I can no longer wake on lan. What am I missing ?
