old string that no one has responded to, indicating not a wide spread issue. Did you ever resolve? Sometimes the issue is on the router side. I’d try rebooting it, and then giving the T8 a permanent address. If not, I’d reach out to to eversolo for a warranty claim?

Interesting. I have an internal SSD with no issues. Strange.

What brand SSD (although I can’t imagine why that would matter.)

Poor contact and short circuit of SSD may affect.
    Is it freshly inserted?
And some Samsung SSD may be incompatible.

    I see.
    1. remember to insert the SSD retention latch and press it firmly until it clicks into place.
    2. re-format it after having a backup
If the incompatibily sitill exists, you can consider using Western Digital instead, which has better compatibility.

    Would the WD_BLACK SN7100 2TB NVMe SSD, M.2 2280 be a good choice?

I would say even too good if not overkill. Just consider that any module standard above the PCIe Gen3 standard will run at backward compatibility specs level, that means you will take no advantage of any superior performance specced by the memory product with possible increased running temp and power draw (which might be the culprit of the issues you previously reported). Even a DRAM-less module would be perfectly fine. For these reasons, plus a possible cost saving factor (especially now that prices are crazy high), I would suggest to source for any Blue or Green line option, all again from WD. I personally went for a Blue line SN550 1 TB. module which runs perfectly fine for one and a half year now.

US Distributor has responded and will repair the unit upon receipt of required internal electronics from eversolo. I was quoted a week or two for Eversolo to provide
